Mmm interesting. Depends on how good/un-molested/original this car is. If I was interested in acquiring potential future classics (which I'm not really) I'd do my research because this has potential to increase in value I'd say.

Possible future investment if preserved in its current state. But i dont buy cars to preserve them, they are meant for this! :driving: :D
Now - E89 sDrive35iS.

Then.. E89 sDrive30i, E85 3.0si Sport Roadster.

Not if my life depended on it. The only thing that is ever going to make a car like that valuable is provenance. They have no racing history. Very few people of any note wasted Money on one. I seem to recall Rowan Atkinson tried one on long term test for Evo and got rid PDQ after bits started falling off.

Looks like a Datsun Skyline on steroids

I remember when they came out there was a NOS option that took the car to near 800bhp (IIRC) - for the duration of the NOS tank, which would probably be 15 secs or less

Not a chance - seem to remember it getting a total slating on Top Gear too. As above, if I have a huge garage and lots of cash to waste, possibly for curiosity / future classic status. But from where I am sitting with that kind of money I'd rather get me a second hand, fully loaded, atacama yellow e89 35is M Sport  :driving:
