Yeah they did it to escape some rule than manufacturers have to produce a percentage of low emission cars apparently???

Just imagine a ladies disappointment after you'd told her you own an Aston Martin only to have the door opened to one if those lol

The new fiesta is clearly making a nod towards Astons...

That grill is the reason I bought the mrs a fiesta over a new mini

That and they're such a good drive! 1.0 ecoboost is a fab lol engine

All the new fords have a grill that's similar in design to the Vantage etc

I heard a rumour that you could only buy this car from Aston, if you were a pre-exisiting customer.

i.e if you own a Vantage/ DB9/ Vanquish etc you could purchase the little city run-about.

Not sure how true this is though...

It reminds me of a Toyota iQ

Apart from the different bumpers and a bespoke interior... it is.

Not sure the interior really works all that well mind you... 15-aston-cygnet-live-geneva.jpg

I've driven the IQ, and as far as a city car goes it's alright. Nippy enough to keep up with traffic.

No sure on the interior myself either, might look better in another colour possibly.

I love the interior, have heard residuals are awful so I may pick one of these up if they are a few hundred over an IQ in the future

You can pick up a Aston Martin Cygnet 1.33 3dr Cygnet Hatchback 2011 on Auto Trader for as little as £19,450 !
