Best GT car

Post by Zeddicus » Wed Mar 25, 2015 8:49 pm

Not that I am (seriously) considering to change car, but I was wondering about which car would qualify to be the best GT car!

Ideally, price used should be not exceeding £25'000 (around 30'000€). And of course, it requires to be: fast, comfortable on long distances, and stylish...

So, what would be your pick? :)

Love these. I'd quite possibly have one in the garage, instead of the Zed, if only I could fit inside one.

11 out of ten for the outside. 8)

6 out of ten for the inside.

You could pick these up for 16k a few years back, when the banks went bust. Fortunately I can fit in the DB9 and as they have sold shed loads, I'm hoping there will be a decent choice for sensible money, if I ever move on from the Zed. No plans for several years.

Problem with AM is that it's old and going to go wrong and when it does it will cost a fortune so

Have you driven a DB7 before....looks pretty, but unfortunately they are really awful, total disappointment, and the interior genuinely uses 1996 Fiesta switchgear. I've got a 2006 AM V8V and it makes for a decent GT car.....but the DBS is the one to have. Had one for a month and it's definitely the perfect sports/GT car for me.

At £25k I'd go for an e92 M3 DTC...perfect for covering long distance miles.

Maserati 4200, shame there are no boomerang lights on the rear and revers is a bitch, but almost as beautiful as the DB7 Vantage. Also has the basic engine from the feza 360 in the nose, alas without the flat plane crank. :D

My girlfriend has a Mercedes E Class Coupe. It's not the 500 but it's still a very nice car inside and out. It's definitely a girl's car though
