TVR by Gordon Murray
Would you put down 5k deposit on the next TVR without knowing anything about it... Seems like a gamble but could be a good bet if Gordon Murray is designing it, hopefully he's in charge of the whole thing

Re: TVR by Gordon Murray
Hopefully a big success - it would be great to see this marque back . In a lot of ways the Z4M was an alternative to the TVR - let's hope the new ones continue on with that spirit of front engined RWD sports cars.

Looks great, but .....
I bet it still leaks when it rains and over-heats when it isn't.

Re: TVR by Gordon Murray
It'll be a cracking performance car with GM design, a big V8 and 1100kg all up. I'd be worried that with a years orders booked the price will rocket and end up as an £80k car, not the affordable supercar it could be

Re: TVR by Gordon Murray
250 Deposits have already been placed, hence TVR enthusiasts believe in the project. TVR had a reputation for producing adrenaline junky cars and I am sure that this reputation will continue. I only wish I had a spare £5k for a deposit.
I personally think that you cannot beat a V8 powered rear wheel drive sports car and TVR produced many.
It will be great, to see the revival of the "Great British Sports Car" especially with the name of TVR being powered by a V8 and with the design input of Gordon Murray. After all the Maclaren F1, is still one of the most Wanted Supercars in the WORLD.

It's here.

What do we think? I think it's looks great, if not Sagaris-spectacular. Hopefully it will sound epic though, especially if that test mule is anything to go by!

Lovely . . . . but . . . . Is that the exhaust sticking out the front wing! Puts paid to window down driving, unless you like exhaust fumes - plus its a styling disaster imo.

I like it but something's not quite right, is it? It's like a Viper at the back, an F-type from the side, and the front is 720s vs. Corvette. Would be good to see it in the flesh.

Wasn't referring to the whole car - just the exhaust position. Pipes should come out the back
