Unless you're talking about the rotary rx8 Mazda? I had a new one of those in 2006 :o
Rob
I will give you that one.
The RX8 engine was so bad that some of the warranty companies refused to warranty it. So I guess you still wouldn't have been getting an extended warranty then!

I presume the new model isn't any bigger in cabin size - very nice looks though - enjoy.
No the cabin is still snug. Just about right for a short arsed person !!!!

Interior space is at best minimal. I fit and thaats all that matters. Storage wise it doesnt even have a glovebox!

Ride quality is an improvement but my Z4 was 13 years old so maybe a bit unfair to compare

Guess I'll have to just enjoy being driven about in my sons old mk2. :D
I am not overly tall but anything over 5 11 and you would struggle. I am still coming to terms with the power thing (especially on the open road). But providing you use the rev range it does have just enough poke

You mean vertically challenged - at least you can buy a suit off the peg - I used to shop at High and Mighty but have since gone upmarket with Amazon - I can now buy 38in inside leg jeans

MX5 - Does it replace my Z4???

That is a lush MX5 you have there. I have had 2x Mk1s, the first one was the best, a Eunos RS-Ltd with the Recaros. I absolutely love the look of the Mk4 MX5.

I wouldn't sweat the lack of power, I've had cars ranging from 110 bhp (Mk2 Golf) up to 300 bhp (350Z). Most of my most fun drives were in the lower powered stuff, the Golf, MX5, Puma, MX5 etc. You can thrash the balls off them and have fun without getting banned instantly.

I've just sold my Coupe and next car is a Mk3 MR2. I've enjoyed the Z4 but lightweight cars rock. :)
