Certainly a interesting car with it standing directly between the E46 M3 & the CSL M3
Only 240 UK cars
Comes with a few OEM upgrades from the standard M3 & at the time of sale was around £2500 on top of the standard car but certainly worth that spend if this how their values are by comparison

Do like these.

Info on the wheels is wrong though so would have to question the other carry over items also.

Seeing a car like this up for 17.5k reinforces my opinion that the Z4M is great value and must rise in the near future

I had one, with the correct gearbox. Wouldn't touch the smg with a barge pole, both for enjoyment and for the wallet.
Paid 13k for mine 4 years ago I think with 50k on, surprising they've risen so much as really no different to a normal M3. The most substantial and imo important change is the CSL rack, but that's no big job to put on a normal m3. Other than that it's just some acantara bits, oh and CSL/Z4m brakes for what they're worth. It is the only version that comes in Interlagos though, so I had to have it
Fond memories of it though. I ended up putting a CSL carbon roof on it, CSL bootlid, CSL airbox, ARBs, Exhaust, Brembos, Intrax 1k2.
Looked good for a while

Very nice M3. Though slightly slower than a Z4M. At least the one I met was. Only got to 166 so he told me, the Zed was doing 167

Very nice Tom, well, it was! :( That looked like a big accident :dizzy:

I test drove a CS before settling on the Z, very nice but decided I didn't need the rear seats (for now!). Values have shot up in the last 18 months.

Bit of a strange ad - Namely this bit;

"Delivery can be arranged to anywhere using trusted shippers and is included in the advertised price."

Also wondering why there are no under bonnet shots?

I had an e46 M3 CS in silver grey. Sold it just before prices started to climb!! typical!! these cars literally had every conceivable extra thrown at them as it was badically a runout model for the e46 M3.

Mine had elec rear blind, nav, smg box ( loved it, used paddles whole time ), sunroof, xenons etc.

The CS spec included:

CSL alloys
CSL steering rack
CSL front brakes
Uprated suspension
CSL steering wheel, with M track mode button

Great cars!! wish I had kept mine now!!

I do really like these, especially as I can't afford a CSL, and seriously considered one before I bought my Z4MC, ultimately the smaller, faster, better looking and thus more special car swung it for me, but if I had kids that's a serious contender for me for best, most usable, and importantly-available in manual, high performance small-ish BMW.

A friend of mine had one painted in matt grey before BMW offered frozen grey as an option. It looked amazing and was a great car except for the smg gearbox which was a pain in traffic.

If that's a legit ad then that's a great price, I would be wary though something doesn't add up.

My mate bought (and has still got) a CSL at about the same time I bought the Z4MC.

The ONLY reason I didn't buy the CSL at the time was the mileage on it. The Z4MC for £25k had 9000 miles and a 2 year AUC warranty (which came in handy when I needed the new engine), the £30k CSL had 60,000 miles on it.

I knew it was going to be a daily driver, so couldn't see the CSL coping with the 25,000 miles a year, plus Ring trips, plus Welsh hoons, without damaging something expensive.

Just wish I had, as every time I drive my mates car I am disappointed when I get back to the Z4MC  - the only positive is that I drive the Z4MC faster than he drives the CSL, and since he's had kids the car does about 50 miles a year for servicing/MOTs.

If just hope work picks up again before I have to sell.

£25k sounds like a cracking deal for a Z4MC with only 9k on the clock at today's market prices mmm-five. Why did you need a new engine out of interest?

It was £25k in December 2008 when I bought it. Valued at £15k with 150'000 miles on it when it had its accident in December 2015, due to individual spec and the mods I'd fitted.

New engine was down to VANOS issues (supposedly) and was replaced just after my first Inspection, so they couldn't really argue over bad servicing when I noticed the misfire as soon as I picked it up

Fair play to BMW, they did give me a courtesy car while it was in for the 4 weeks, but the dealer then tried to shaft me for £3.5k of investigative work that they claimed they couldn't recover from BMW warranty. A 3-way call between us and we agreed that we'd all contribute 1/3rd.
