Wheel is fitted, but as with any project looks like a bit of tinkering is required. Seems that although almost identical not all the touch controls work. Thankfully for now the flappies (and speed ironically speed limiter) do. Also heated so a change of slip ring and should be able to get that working for Winter

This gets delivered tomorrow and will be a longer term project. Of course it's a bumper (or a corpse),
Any guesses what this might be off?

OK - no teasing - from an SVR that I assume the owner ran out of talent after 3 months of driving it:

Good luck with getting the wheel all up and working correctly

The bumper looks great, your not hanging around on the modding. The F type is a stunning car, can see one in my future but I'll have to wait for the prices to drop some what.

Well after a bit of jiggling the wheel is now working. Required the electronics of the original to be fitted in the centre hub of the new (perhaps due to a change in electronics??). Later project will be to connect the heating function if I decide I want it and can source the slip ring and any extra loom
Looks and feels the business

On the Z, you would just have the airbag light on after that project - you have all the lights on now :poke:

Looking good though, I have never had heated steering but my son has it and he loves it.

You will not wait that long, seen base cars under 30k now. I love the car but like most Jags money just falls away

The cheapest base car on Autotrader is £32.5, Ebay £35k (S model start at just under £40k)
Considering they cost £50k new then (and just over that now) 35% depreciation after 3.5 years is not all bad. Check that against any other high priced car
