Halogen to xenon lights

Post by dans6490 » Sun Mar 26, 2017 10:02 am

Not z4 related but thought you guys would be the best bet for advice.

I have halogen headlights on my x3 and have just picked up a set of facelift xenon lights with halos for £30!! It was too good to miss.

Does anyone know if it is possible to retro fit these? I'm thinking (hoping) it would be a similar process to on a z4???

Suspension sensors and headlamp washers for legality. The washers and pump should be easy enough but don't know how the sensors work, I.e. If they need coding, wiring in etc.
Know there is the option to activate bi-xenon in the LCM so not sure if turning that on would make the level wheel redundant or if a new LCM is needed.

I've found this retro fit kit in Eastern Europe somehwhere for about £40. Would you say this is all I need as well as the new headlight units?
