Nice looking MK2 the revised rear lights really tidied the rear end up on the rev3 models.
I had a mk1 in Blue and mk2 rev2 in Green never had a turbo though. Great cars would happily have another.

We could almost have our own MR2 show John, although yours would win the best in show award

Cheers chaps, seems I can't get away from 'ladies cars'...
They are indeed snappy and will have you facing the wrong way in an instant, ask me how I know....
Firebobby's looks good too, but being honest I prefer the t-bar, even if you can't hear anything for 3 days after a fast run, it's like being at a Who gig with the glass out...radio on? forget it...
Thanks for the posts all, top dudes..

Yep a Mongoose Firebobby, an OEM back box is a tad over £600... senseless money. The manifolds are deemed ok so I'll put a Mongoose on from the downpipe.firebobby wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2017 9:18 pmWhat exhaust you getting John, I fitted a Mongoose that I picked up secondhand, not too loudjohn-e89 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2017 9:07 pm Cheers chaps, seems I can't get away from 'ladies cars'...

My manifold and downipe were fine too, the cat and backbox were shot at the flanges, literally fell to bits. I got a new cat from off ebay and fitted the Mongoose.john-e89 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2017 9:24 pmYep a Mongoose Firebobby, an OEM back box is a tad over £600... senseless money. Picked my 8th MR2 up yesterday, I've been looking out for a nice red t-bar for a couple of years without much success, nice ones are getting very thin on the ground now, they rot around the rear arches, sills and door bottoms. This one is solid, no rot, with all original paint, panels, and zero dings. A 72k mile 3 owner car, all female apparently, not that it makes any difference, but made more sense as it looks like the t-bar glass has never been out judging by the leaking flat seals and new looking locking pin guides. My plan is to put new seals in, a stainless exhaust, polish the slightly pink paint, drop the engine to detail it and the engine bay, paint and powder coat the subframe and all suspension, driveshafts etc, then just enjoy it on a sunny Sunday evening and take it to a few shows, it'll reach classic status in 4years and unless I'm offered silly money I'll hang on to it. It's a fairly rare car now being all original. A bit marmite, but I really like the shape and they're fun to chuck around, it's no Zed but that's not the point. Couple of crap phone pics.
Cheers for reading.
I wish you wouldn't.
Seems to be a few current/ex MR2 owners on here.
Loved mine.
