I think it was actually 800 odd miles ... the second owner did another 3000 in a year, then I bought it, and it's now living a pampered life in the South of France.
My other car's a Jag JB ... 3 litre XF-S Portfolio Sportbrake .... the perfect 2nd car if you've got a Z. I confess I looked at F-Types but preferred the folding hardtop on the Z4 to the soft-top F ... you need an open car down here but have to wear a baseball cap or risk a crispy bald-spot! ...
.... you'll get a lot of pleasure with the F-Type.100_0436.JPG

Hi Gang
pretty sure I am letting my 35is go .. I have other things to do with my money etc
But I will be getting another Z4 hopefully .. so watch this space
anyway WBAC have offered me £31500 for the car which I am tempted to let them have it this weekend .. but just thought that any forum members would like my car for the same money then let me know, the car has covered
380 miles and 6 months old with most options .. well nearly all actually
just a thought if some one was interested, then by all means email me ..
all the best

Yes, I'm sure you think you're correct resurrecting an ancient post ... trouble is he sold it after 12 months not 6 and I seem to remember him telling me it was 900 miles now I come to think of it. I'm sure he'll put you straight ... if he can be bothered!

The problem is most of his old posts were deleted to cover his tracks. The story went with his wife buying it from him and that she was finally putting the miles on it.
Keep your eyes open for his new car for sale soon with mega low miles

Yes of course .. why do you ask ?
Cause you never used your E89.
A few hundred miles is not using it.
you do not know that ... only forum talk
.. anyway why does this bother you so much

Hello Kingfisher & Ronk

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lespugue
Kingfisher .. I have loads of paperwork for the 35is like original purchase documents pictures .. build sheets etc, would you like me to send them to you .. plus a film clip from a BMW genius when it was 1st delivered to the showroom ping me a PM and I will send you the paperwork.
pic of the F Type ? (completed 540 miles)
did not go for the V8 in the end as budget would not stretch that far .. but happy with the 3.0 V6 supercharged

Hi James Bond! ... only just found this post! ... I'd be delighted with any paperwork etc for the car, thanks very much. Just been down to Spain for a week, alas the weather wasn't great so only had the roof down a couple of times! We live right down by the Spanish border near a village called Arles-sur-Tech (66150) in the Pyrenees foothills, less than an hour from the coast. I'll pm you our address. We're delighted with the XF-S Sportbrake - we keep a boat at St.Cyprien so it's very useful for lugging gear about for that. If you're ever off down the A8 to Spain send an e-mail and come to lunch ... or maybe a day out on the boat! More than welcome. ...
