Love boats, but boy are they expensive to run and moor! That is a nice looking boat, how was that photo at speed taken?

Was at Poole the other week drooling over 15 Sunseekers!

That's a lovely boat. 8) How many gallons per hour does she do at cruise?

I walk past these beauties most lunch hours.

Fuel consumption is eye watering at her 33 knots top speed - you can see the gauges going down! Best not to check the gallons per mile! Mostly we potter round at 10 knots when it sips the stuff by comparison ... far less noisy and easier to spot lobster pot buoys! Half the roof slides back to let the sun in and it's all very pleasant. We keep her about an hour away from where we live, in the foothills of the Pyrenees ... we usually go down for 2/3 days at a time and we don't always go out, just treating it like a country cottage! There are beautiful coves and spectacular cliffs between here and Spain for when we do go out. I know it's tough but someone's got to do it!
Those big Princesses are lovely but it cost €30k to buy a berth for this one at 42 feet so I wouldn't want to have to park one of those!
P.S. just checked ... about 14 gallons an hour!
