..... Now a M240i

Post by Swiftly » Wed Jun 07, 2017 6:47 pm

Finally found a replacement for my zed which I sold a couple of weeks ago. I finally picked up from Dick Lovett in Bristol, a M240i automatic coupe which is loaded with loads of extras, so am very happy :D

I also had an enjoyable long drive back to Edinburgh, which gave me the opportunity to start to get to know the car. First mod once I have saved up some more pennies will be an M Performance silencer with carbon tips and a rear diffuser.

Thanks Paul, Lorrain said its a lovely car but it's not special like the zed and I think she is missing the drop top already, she must be still in mourning. I am thoroughly enjoying the car, so much power which is delivered in a totally different way to the zed, the auto box is fantastic with very quick changes. I also like the way when in manual that you can down shift even if pushing close to max revs, which not a lot of auto boxes allow you to do. So looking forward to taking it for a blast on some nice winding roads :driving: :D

Estoril is the best colour. Looks great and I bet it's an absolute rocketship!

Well maybe change the sig, but with those numbers the user name still works OK!

Love the colour too. I do like the shape of the 2 series coupe, much better than the previous 1 Series Coupe!
