Saw this beauty parked in our local supermarket.
I believe it's a circa latesb50's/60 502 Baroque Angel
To say perfect condition is an understatement...
Don't think I've even seen one before, but I'd love to be able to cruise in it along the Costa...

Looks mint! The distinctive BMW kidney grilles have gotten fatter over the years.

Not too sure on this model, but seems they can hit 118 mph with its 'Super' V8
Nice Resto and clearly way better than factory finish

Not Spanish though and I don't recognise the plate configuration, but you're right. Followed a Renault 4 yesterday likely from the 60's that was battery beyond belief but rust free.

Yep it's a 502 super V8 160 bhp first went into production circa 1954 to 1956 there's also a Cabriolet model and a 2 door Coupe
It was superseded by the 503 in 1955 with a complete Redesign

Impressive hp for 1954. Imagine trying to stop it. Personally I'm not taken by the design, but what a cool car. 8)

That was my instant thought - 160bhp and 1950's brakes!

Lovely, I don't think I've seen one in the metal

Apparently the H plate is a historic Spanish Reg. Useful site that searches plates word-wide and has photo's of the car, you never know yours might be in there :D

That's an interesting site. The BMW is indeed listed as a 502 and Marbella resident. Photos in Puerto Banus, but I saw it elsewhere

Seriously though can you imagine hitting 120 in the 50's before we even had a motorway...

Lovely car OP - it's even older than me!

I'd imagine those speeds back then would instil excitement and fear in roughly equal measure!
Coupes because stunning!
