Kia are still Marmite cars these days but I'm a fan as the owner of a 2017 Sportage.
Got an email through from them about the launch if their new "Stinger". Looks great to me although very reminiscent of the A7.
Starting at just £30k, going up to £42k for the turbocharged 3.3L V6.
Me likey!

Might do well in other countries, but Kia is not seen in the U.K. as a prestigious brand, so I doubt they will sell many.

Not for me thanks - I bet there isn't a manual gearbox in the range!
For people my age this is a stinger:-

I think Suzuki need to have a quiet word with Kia about using that name!
Kia maybe need to look for options - Stinker, Minger spring to mind!

It looks good and I bet it'll be a great car. Doubt it'll sell well and will depreciate like a bomb but will be a good 2nd hand buy in a few years.

This.
I was hearing from someone that works for Kia that they arent making a lot if any money on the cars instead its an attempted shot across the bow for Audi/BMW/Merc, basically Kia saying "look, we can make them too" interesting idea, hopefully it goes well, not a Kia fan but competition breeds innovation!

I think the Kia is taking style lines from BMW.
