Exhaust heat shield.

Does the bumper attatch to the heat shield?

Mine appears to have corroded and the bolts are now not bolted to anything so my bumper is loose at the bottom.
Managed to bodge it with a big washer and it's not as bad now.

Does anyone know how much a new one is? And if the bumper does actually bolt to that? Or has something else broke too :s

How weird, I was waxing my bumper last night and it felt loose on the near side, looked under and the heat shield had snapped around the fixing to the bumper, I drilled a few self tappers further up and refixed back to the bumper...

Haha must be slightly common then!
