She was.

Can I ask where did you get your indoor cover from? Now we are keeping the M. I may invest on something to keep the dust off.

Morning
Yes buddy, came from classic additions it's a custom job for me and my car
But if buying an indoor one DO tell them can I have the same shape as mine just say Marc with the z4mr

It's the only z4 they've ever done haha
It went down to getting vehicle dimensions from Bmw them measuring my splitters and bmw the size of spoiler etc to get it to fit spot on:)

Took some doing but its cool as :)
I'll go look for ladies name to ask for

Ok ladies name is Mandy as it went back and forth on fitting trials about 8 times hahah then trying to get the M stripes to stay straight even though going downward over the nose

Owner was involved Adrian both lovely and great cover and comes in it's own rucksack with a cover to go over hood so no felt transfer from cover inner ;)

I'm impressed with the cosmos car cover. It's cheap but functional

Evening all, I'm sat in my lounge looking at my little zed getting soaked in a torrential downpour, so I thinking about winter covers. Looking at storm force which look bespoke for Z4 or classic additions which from the photos don't look as fitted. Then I find this thread about potential scratching from covers moving in the wind. Paulgs1000 idea of fleece blankets on the car before the cover goes on sounds good. Any other thoughts or ideas before I push the button on the storm force?

I bought a genuine bmw outdoor cover 82150148891 for mine after getting fed up of it raining soon after cleaning.

It sat on the pre-cleaned and polished/waxed car for the whole of last winter but when I took it off I had rubbing marks/lots of fine scratches at certain points, where I presume the cover had moved slightly/continuously when windy.

A few of these marks have been a real pita to remove. I wouldn’t use it again without first putting an indoor cover or some kind of protection on first.

My Z4 lives outdoors, but I'd never consider putting a cover on it because of the scratching issues when it gets windy.

I solved the tree sap problem earlier this year - I had the tree cut down!

A bit of rain won't do any harm.
Coupes because stunning!

Thanks guys, thinking of a compromise now. The last thing I want to do is risk scratching my car paintwork so maybe a half cover to give the roof a bit of protection over the winter months, anyone have any experience with these?

Perfect for keeping the fly s**t off in my draughty garage.. Not waterproof though.

Think it was recommended in Auto Express, for what it's worth.

Your cosmos cover, is that just a saloon car cover or do they do a coupe/sports car version. On amazon, they just seam to say, medium and large. Is this the same (albeit more expensive) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cosmos-Indoor- ... +car+cover

I ordered the medium. Don’t think they do specific styles, but I might be wrong.

stormforce are brilliant covers with the wool lining...only problem i found was in high winds they do get lifted and mine was whipped off on the front corner....so i decided to shove it in my dads garage when he was away...would be willing to sell it for the right price...its the top spec one, includes padlock and metal security strap.
