sad thing is, it seems the weather has totally gone.... i would have liked to use the car into late october , early Nov weather permitting.

What?! I use mine all year round, this was 11th Dec.

Likewise, and if I'm out in it, and it the roof id DOWN, as long as the rain isn't torrential, that said once you are doing 40mph none of it comes in. Got some strange looks on the M62 earlier today though as it was bucketing down, and I was just cruising along at; erm 70'ish with the roof down.

That's why I sold mine - It went on the car twice. Couldn't be bothered with the faffing and storage..

I like the idea of having the two driving experiences - its certainly feels completely different with the hard top on, different sound and feel to driving - hard to put my finger on, but I love it.
I will make the swap to my Sapphire Black hard top with my black style 32 alloys to give a totally new look to the Zed at the end of October. It's quite exciting :)
Will I have a pang of regret on those crisp clear winter days? - well yes, but I will have the spring to look forward to :driving:

Soft-tops are up more than they are down.

For looks and not having to deal with a mouldy fabric roof.
