Rim protectors
My shiny new wheels were packed with these white rim protectors on for the long journey up North, but not those cut and stick ones. A full 19" ring that clips/folds over the deep dish rim, no adhesive. Plus they're pretty wide, for show maybe? Now, personal preference and all, I actually quite like them but these ones are a bit beat up.
I've scoured the internet for something similar but all I find are these cut and stick thingies, and trust me I have LOOKED! BBS do a nice shiny stainless steel one, but I don't know if they'll fit my style of wheel, and I don't know if they're the adhesive type either.
Does ANYBODY know where I can find these or what to search for or something? I'm at a loss.

No I don't think so, I've not seen these ones before.
They came like this:
It's probably hard to tell just from that. They have like a squared edge.

I agree they are horrible looking.
I was behind a car last weekend with a set and the 2 front wheels looked like they were buckled and wobbling as the protectors couldn't have been fitted completely round, it looked terrible.

I think those alligator things look crap and chavvy and would rather pay for a full refurb than have them!
Just be careful and not needed.

Alloygators take the stress out of living on a narrow london street with high curbs both sides, delivery vans, 4x4s that are so freeking wide they don't fit in the width allocated for parking), and school traffic using the road as a parking lot.
Scrtched up black plastic that blends in with the tires looks so much better than scratched up alloys.

And yet my Z4 has the BBS CH-R in Satin Black with Rim Protector on and everyone always comments how much they compliment the car?!

I get it, where the wheel and rim protector are designed to be fitted together. Then it is down to personal taste. But why would you take time picking a wheel that you like and then stick an aftermarket one on. That to me is just plain chavsville.ZeroCooL wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 2:41 pm And yet my Z4 has the BBS CH-R in Satin Black with Rim Protector on and everyone always comments how much they compliment the car?!

I have had them on a number of cars over the years. If you choose the colour carefully they don’t stand out too much and have saved me a fortune. Especially when a certain family member is at the wheel.
