LED strobing rear lights

Well before the purists have another moan about modifying Z4’s this only cost me £10.88 and can easily remove it.

Anyway finished wiring it up tonight and love the indicator strobe, 50/50 on some of the Colours but cannot change them.

I'd be surprised if the indicators are road legal, the multi coloured one definitely isn't

I would be happy with it just illuminating red on braking as it looks quite good going full width :)

What does the LED strip part look like in the day, is it barely visible or stand out like a sore thumb?

EDIT: I like the idea of a brake light like this

I currently have wired it so it only works if tail lights are on so during the day not on. It should light up red when brake lights come on

I think they look cool - very Knight Rider'ish. Got me wondering if I can put them on the Coupe.

Can you share the link as to where you got them please. I love a fun cheap mod.

Not sold on the multi-colour one, but the indicator linked one looks ok. Can you play with the timing so it matches the indicator speed ?

It would be a very boring world if we were all the same. I like the mod as a brake light, maybe even hooked up to the brake force indicator so when you brake really heavy it comes on.

I LIKE that!

Neil, I see you've gone "facelift" at the rear. Picking my bumper and lights up tomorrow, any tips for the wiring?

And do you have a link for this latest mod?
