hi everyone, if i were to purchase a hard top for my E85, would i need anything to fit it like special brackets ETC. or does it just fit ? thanks for any help, Alan.

It will fit straight on to any UK model e85. You just need a fitting tool to lock it down.

Probably get away with using bits from the tool box if it doesn't come with a tool (but I'd advise you do get one just for pure convenience as soon as you can..)

The sides lock down by turning about 45 degrees. The top locks and unlocks buy rotating (clockwise and anti). For the sides you could probably get away with a Philips screwdriver, this goes into a hole and you can then pivot till it locks. Think it's about a 4mm dia hole. The top lock is probably similar to a T50 hex bit, rotate to lock and unlock like mentioned above.

-hardtop
-cover
-tool
-2 interior trim covers
-2 round covers for hardtop cover :D
-manual

Should have got 3 trim covers? 2 for either side and 1 for front-top section?

Front top section cover is attached to the hardtop itself by a 'fishing line'.
Side covers are just for esthetics.
