Couldn't turn up anything from a search, so does anyone know if the facelift heater controls are a straight swap?

Much prefer the rubber edged knobs :?

Anyone?

Just to clarify my earlier comment. I have actually done this and mine was plug and play. I wonder why Ben g had a issue, the thread doesn't say what the outcome was and if he had triggered transport mode. I think I saw his thread before I did mine and I was expecting to have to swap over the internals but didnt.

Mine still aren't working correctly. It blows cold air on the normal setting. That's all well and good in summer, but it's getting colder now

Only way i can get heat coming through is by pressing the 'hurricane' button. Not quite sure what the remedy is for this, apart from trying to go back to the pre facelift controls.

When i first installed the facelift controls, they didn't work at all, so i had to use the prefacelift rear section with the facelift front. This could be why i have these issues.

I had an issue when swapping mine over so what i did was:

open up both units and swap over the circuit board so you end up with new knobs / casing and old internals, works 100%

Yep, used it last week. I do have a hardtop on currently, whether that makes any difference?
