How does the quad exhaust system work and where do I find one?
Hi guys,
New to the Z scene, I have a 3.0 that has the standard twin tip exhaust on the left side, have seen a few of you have the quad exhaust system, how does this conversion work, is it worth, does it sound good?
Where would I source a quad system from if I wanted one?
Thanks in advance for your help and replies.

You can go one of three ways.
Either:
Have a custom system made, expect around £750
Fit oem M backboxes, and alter pipework, maybe £5-600?depends on price of boxes.
Keep the oem silencer, have it modified and a second outlet made and fitted. This is something I will be offering shortly in addition to my modified exhausts. Probably looking at £450-£500 all in.

Mike would the last option include cutting a new outlet into the original bumper and re-spraying or does the customer need to source an M bumper first and colour match it to the bodywork?Ducklakeview wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2017 12:07 pm You can go one of three ways.

Can cut the outlet, but dint want to get involved in painting at the moment, however changes are afoot so that may be something I will offer...Marlon wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2017 12:25 pmMike would the last option include cutting a new outlet into the original bumper and re-spraying or does the customer need to source an M bumper first and colour match it to the bodywork?Ducklakeview wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2017 12:07 pm You can go one of three ways.

Fitting ///M back boxes would require removal of the battery tray also as it sits where the back box would go.Ducklakeview wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2017 12:07 pm You can go one of three ways.

I had mine done by Machine Monkey and was over the moon with the result. It was all about the look for me and with Monkey tips on they looked great. I will try and post a pic

Mr Tidy no point looking at my install as it’s all custom, oh and there’s a M5 V10 sitting up front. You have the problem of the battery box to deal with, the bumper either needs to be cut out to suit or a very expensive Z4M replacement. I’m sure there’s a few threads on here somewhere.

Unfortunately the topic is another photobucket casualty - page 49 has some nice pics of the beast
