Hi Guys,
Last week i bought an iPhone 3G and paired it up with my Factory Bluetooth kit. As EdButler stated, it worked a lot better when i completley deleted all the existing bluetooth settings in the car by holding the BT button.
The phone now works great, making calls, phonebook works, the only problem i'm still having is that when receiveing an incoming call, now i do not get the callers name on the display?
My old nokia worked fine. I have a feeling it may be down to the way my contacts have been copied from the Nokia to the iPhone (i.e - not in the 'correct' iPhone format) i will re-jig them a little and see if i can get it working.
But before I do, has anyone had similar problems with their 3G?
My car by the way is a 2003 3.0, for anyone wondering if it is possible...it is! (as the dealer told me it absolutley, catagorically would not work at all)
Thanks
