Inspection II Costs

Post by timothy954 » Sat Oct 31, 2009 7:01 am

Any idea how much an inspection 2 servicing will cost in a BMW garage? It's due in 700 mile, and just wondered how much i'll have to save up.

Worth shopping around as several dealers are now offering age related service discounts. Chandlers (in the south, Brighton, Worthing, Hailsham) quote 20% discount on labour for vehicles over 4 years old and 30% over 6 years - certainly a bargaining/negotiating point for you local dealer. Not sure where you live but the Indies are much cheaper than regular BMW and in my opinion many are just as good if not better. Indies need repeat customers to survive (BMW dealers do but perhaps the economic pressure is not as great) so are competitive in pricing.

HI, I would shop around as I think this is one area were Stealers can compete with each other unlike the price of BMW parts.

I'm haven't got the paper to hand, but I'm sure my local dealer wrote it down at less than 300 to me.

I have booked my car in for its service with this company, next Tuesday alot cheaper than the dealers!

Hopefully they will do a good job.
