Andrew.
Any garage that has a drill and a mig welder will be able to do this for you, the hardest part is removing the nuts/bolts that hold your rear boxes on, pretty straight forward after that

Any maybe finding one that has some exhaust clamps/sleeves for when they inevitably have to cut off the rear section, as the BMW rear clamps have merged into one unit

Umm, one to ponder by the sounds of it then!

My local garage did it no problems. They just asked for a copy of the pictures posted on here and got the jist of what was needed. Bit of simple drilling and welding they said when they finished.

I think I must have had them nearly a year and I'm still pleased. There's just a little extra boom moving up past 2000rpm that could be tiresome at a constant speed but 75mph on the motorway on the ///M is closer to 3000rpm so it never bothers me.

Has anyone ordered these recently? Want to know whether if I call Warren Engineering up they will have a clue what I'm on about or whether I've missed the boat......

Could you let me know when you get these done, as I'd love to hear them in the flesh. I'm in Crowthorne, so it sounds like we're very local!

Hi folks,

Possibly one of the most interesting threads I've read!

Id echo previous queries though on the 3.0i. Anyone of this club had it fitted? Any pics? Measurements?? I want to order them but think I'll need pics of fitting for my indy to go by.

Thanks.

Same, but I'm in Wokingham. I've got a 2005 3.0i.

Hi !
owner of a Z4 3.0i I could be interested, but before, any recording/video on the 3.0i? I will re-read the thread to see feedbacks of people who has done the modification :)
Then, I will check if I can find someone over here for fixing

Note : I guess the 3.0i is what you all call SE in UK?

I've had a few requests for this, also via PM. Happy to arrange a meet once I've got it fitted for all interested people to check it out, i dont have any proper video recording equipment other than a phone but if someone wants to bring that along so as the less local people can get an idea of it im more than happy.

I popped in and saw the Indy that looks after my car yesterday and although its not something he can do he's going to speak with a customer of his who had some similar work done do their E90 M3, hoping to get a call back Monday or Tuesday and it fitted next weekend.
