OK, this may be a dumbass question, but OEM parts are hard to come by here in Canada...at least not without paying and arm and a leg and usually waiting for it to come in from Germany anyway (for the more obscure).
I am going to be in Munich in a few weeks (have my factory tour booked) and need to get a new rear console lower door for my e85 2008 Z4. An idea if there are parts like this available right at the factory (doubt it) at at least a good place to maybe pre order the part and pick up while I am there?
Wasn't sure if anyone here might know but thought I would take a shot.
Thx

Have no idea, but do a search for dealers near by and then give them a ring, imagine it will not be on stock.

I've been to BMW in Munich and I didn't see a "trade counter" or anywhere you would be able to buy parts. If you want BMW branded golf bags, pens and just about anything else you will be fine.
Fantastic day out though well worth it. Make sure you leave time to go round the museum and have a walk round the olympic stadium.
As Sars says I would try and find a Munich dealer. Give them a call and see what they say (they will speak English) or email them.

I used to do the opposite in that I went to the US a lot and needed loads of Jeep parts. I'd simply order them online, phone, etc. to be delivered to the hotel in advance of my arrival. Just have the shipping address include guest name and arrival date.
Never went wrong once, well aside getting an old air con compressor on a BA flight which took some explaining.

The BMW dealer behind this auction is based in München. When I asked them a question on eBay, they responded next day, and in very good English. It might be worth contacting them. Their telephone number and email are includd in the listing.
