I know exactly what you mean :x

Edit - actually, looking at the link to the 3.0i that bad pritt posted above, that seems an unusually expensive Z4? Over the weekend I looked at a 2008 3.0si with 58,000Km, satnav, pdc, etc (but no M' sport seats or M steering wheel) which was the same sticker price when converted to NZD. Seemed a bit cheaper than what I usually see here.

No unfortunately those are the prices over here. In fact, this is actually a rather cheap one (taking into account to the relatively low mileage: 90.000 kms of roughly 60.000 miles) from Germany. In Belgium you wont even find them with this kind of spec and mileage at that price. Unless if it's a right-steered car. But no-one really wants those :P

Repairs for the Boxster haven't been done so far as the seller won't help out. So we are setting up a lawsuit at the moment as we deem the origin of the damages being a hidden defect. In Belgium (under specific circumstances) if you can prove that there was a hidden defect in the car, the seller has to take back the car and refund the purchase as if the sale never existed. So we assigned an expert to investigate the cause and he already confirmed that this is a "hidden defect". But obviously that's not enough to convince the seller...

We're talking about 11.000 euro. For a seller's reputation, specialized in sports cars, knowing that I organise a lot of events for sports cars, you would expect the guy to be smart about this, but no. If we win the lawsuit, he will have to refund me, pay for all the lawsuit expenses as well as my lawyer's fees. If not, he will have at least to repair the car under warranty, and all legal expenses and lawyer's fees will be paid by my insurer (I have an insurance for contractual differences). So I don't have a lot to lose.

Plans for now: driving it! In the long run I'm thining of the aero front and side skirts, sports exhaust (maybe Bastuck, not sure yet). But as she is as good as full option, no idea what I could add more. EDIT: I might go back to CSL wheels as well :-)

No rush to make any changes (you know I love an original z!). Knowing you though there will be changes to come! First should be to take the roof off :poke:

hehe, I was waiting for the first guy to comment on the choice of the Coupé! :P

Here's a few more pics from the seller. Now I just need to figure out how to get the car quickly in Belgium, as it's a 6 hour drive to get there :driving:

Another question: is there a topic on here anywhere that lists all possible option a Coupé could have? I'm wondering what interior options I don't have, lol. I'm thinking of the M-pedals and the M leather parts on the dashboard, but other than that....?

You don't have M wheels, they are MV2 as found on the e46.

Other options include heated seats, cruise control, electric seats, parking sensors, satnav, passenger airbag switch, xenons. Think that's all the main ones.

Ah yes... the wheels indeed! I have all the rest, except the electric seats, but that's only excess weight, lol
I might change the wheels over time, but not sure to what yet. Probably some light weight wheels or back to CSL's.
I'll make a new topic with all details once I have the car in possession :)
