Exactly - that is probably my biggest disincentive!

Hopefully if there is another referendum the English will get a vote too - after all there are more than 10 times as many of us and our foreign aid budget is way out of control.

Whats the tolerance? As in whats the limit amount?

Not sure exactly, but I've declared wheel spacers, strut brace, B12 suspension and LSD. They were touch and go because the value of the modifications is coming to a sizeable proportion of the total value. Seems a bit unfair to me as I'd probably get quoted less on a £30k saloon. Might have to go one of the specialists this year as I might change the wheels.

Go for it!

I reached the same age as you yesterday, but have no kids as far as I remember! But I did make a will, so I'm spending someone's inheritance!

Thanks - it looks like the secret is indeed location!

Much as I like Scotingland (my dad was born there) I don't think cheaper car insurance will persuade me to relocate that far North (it's too cold).

President ???? I thought she was trying for royalty, aka Queen Nicola :fuelfire: :fuelfire: and then we need a Scottish Guy Fawkes

Age 58, my wife 52 also on the insurance, its covered for 5k miles a year to include commuting, she likes to use it for work when sunny, also includes legal and breakdown for.......£214

And that's the first time we have insured it and doesn't include any no claims discount because I have a company car (therefore don't have any), and my wife has her own car on which her NCD is used

23 but for some reason my birth cert says I was born in '63 :| £300 fully comp no mileage restrictions, no claims protected (Then again it may protect my no claims but I'm sure my premium would increase).
