How Low Can You Go!?
After my recent purchase if some 19' Csl's I have been a little unhappy with the ride height. I've Ben a little worried about dropping it and how much arch rub I would get. Mainly because they are M fitting wheels so the rears are pretty big on the car!
So I decided to bite the bullet and pop the old 35mm lowering springs on, roll the rear arches, modify the front liner (mount it in front of the bumper not on the outside) and pray that it would fit OK!!
Before...
After...
Before...
After...
Side now...
So... Does it rub...!? A little! A drive from Bicester to Northampton an had 1 or 2 arch rubs on the front. I have a little more modification to the front arch which I am sure will stop it.
I think it looks PRETTY NICE!

Ridiculously low.
Looks nice tho. Wouldn't want mine that low couldn't take it anywhere. Mines about as low as I would take a Z.

Re: How Low Can You Go!?
Thanks for the replies! It's nice to see a good mix
90% of my driving is to work and back - 50 mile round trip each day. Not a speed bump in sight!
I had these on a few weeks ago with my 108s and it looked super low then too!
If I'm right, the actual body of the car is half inch taller than before, but the tyre to arch gap has decreased by half inch which makes it look so low. That's why I had the arches rolled to stop any 'bad' rub on the actual arch wall because of the size of the wheels. I had a couple of speed bumps on my way home last night from getting the arches rolled and no problem. I guess if you take a speed bump like a prat you'll rub or ground with or without lowering springs!
The Spings used are the ones from FK (Germany)

Re: How Low Can You Go!?
I have a step on to the drive at home which I couldn't get up before with the 108s on and these springs without just touching the under guards (flaps at bottom of car, not sure what they are for! Like small mudflaps under the car!) but have had no issue with touching it yesterday or today!
I guess half an inch can do a lot!

Re: How Low Can You Go!?
The front springs were a real pain this time to get on though, ended up shearing the top bolt on the anti roll bar grabbed a new one for £14 and bobs your uncle! Hate wasting time though.

Looks good, but not too practical out on the road I'd imagine!
