Dash and centre console trim REPLACED - GUIDE inside
Hi
I am a new owner of a Z4M, black & red interior, with low mileage and small things to enhance the condition.
the Aluminiun alloy Centre console is not in good condition
I am struggling to remove this part !!!
I need advices before doing wrong things
The rear coin holder is quiet impossible to remove, is there any screw ?
How to undo the gear knob, unscrew anti clock ?
How to undo the plastic cover around the gear stick ?
The knee pad are clips or not ?
many thnaks in advance,
best regards
Etienne

Big thanks to shawna,
Just replaced the dash today, might give the centre console a try tomorrow.
Definitely very helpful guide.
I do wonder if removing the glove box was really necessary, to get to that funny fastener, instead of trying to force it out via the side vent. however removing was fine with glove box removed, took me a while to get the glove box back in, as it got dark at 16:30 or so and couldn't see too much
Edit: for those wanting more pics, on my ipad photo bucket was blanking the pictures on page2, pelican parts have also done a decent writeup, albeit in a slightly different order than op: https://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticl ... cement.htm
