OK ..I'll admit it ...
Right now I'd rather drive the Zed than give it the Spring "Detail" ...
I've got a box full of every recommended chemical to clean and revive every conceivable surface ..
And yet I lack the ambition to pop those caps and let the magic begin.
I have no real excuse not to ...
What is wrong with me ?
Is the Honeymoon period over ?

No Bumpy; you're just one in a long list of fellow sufferers. The thought of it is often worse than the experience...much like a February long weekend away in Germany.

Just drive :thumbsup:
 
It means you need some motivation. Meet up with another member with a mint looking car and you'll soon find yourself striving to achieve better.

Others members cars on here make me spend fortunes on upgrade and cleaning products alike!
 
I'm one of the few that pay the Europeans £5 once a week. I know they do a crap job but I don't have the time to spend hrs a week doing it myself.

Although currently can't sleep so guess I could be cleaning it in the dark :lol:
 
I clean mine when I can be arsed, which isn't very often. I don't have OCD where cleaning my car is concerned I'd rather be driving it, but saying that it has now got to the stage where it needs doing, I'm moving to a house next week and I'll have an outside tap and a driveway so cleaning the Z will be much easier.
 
Funny enough i'm the same!was lovely weather on sunday and my car hasnt been cleaned in months!!

I used my car at the weekend and nipped upto mums, my brother popped in and said " the batmobile isn't upto your normal standards " :o it was only dust on it as its not seen rain in ages :D
 
Cleaned mine the other day for the first time in weeks. It was a lot of work as it was so dirty, but sooo worth it in the end. It made me feel more proud of it cruising down the road after ;-)

Sorry to have caused such an outrage/stress - I hope you lot won't be having any nasty flashbacks in the future. I promise that the next time it's warm, I will go and clean her. To be honest the last owner rather neglected the roof and bits of it are green ! I am just not looking forward to waxing a black car :| .
 
I fall into the sad | OCD category

Currently on holiday in the south of France and I gave the car a wash yesterday, much to the bemusement of the g/f...

It is the result of cleaning and waxing a black car that make it worthwhile -
