19" CSLs on Z4 Coupe SE - few questions

Hi guys,

Can you help answer a few questions please? I want to put a set of 19" CSLs on a Z4 Coupe SE.

1) BM Autosport seem to be the go-to guys for wheels. Not the cheapest but apparently good quality. The do a great value 19" staggered wheel and tyre package with Falken 453s, but I have read mixed reviews of these online. Anyone have any experience with these tyres?

2) My car is an SE - will I definitely need to lower it? Cannot seem to find a definitive answer, some threads say yes, others seem to say know. Anyone have any experience?

3) if I do lower it, Eibach springs seem to be held in high regard. If I fit the Eibachs will I need to pair with aftermarket dampers, or can the stock dampers cope? Would i see much deterioration in ride quality? My car is a daily.

Any help you could provide would be very much appreciated.

I would say it needs to be lowered....But it all depends what you want and how YOU think it looks when fitted..

Personally i think even SI's look a little on the high side when 19" wheels are fitted..

Eibach and H&R are the 2 springs sets that people go with, both are equally as good and will do the job a treat.. No you wont need dampers.

Ride quality isnt bad realy compromised...The aftermarket springs are actually better for comfort than the OEM springs, but then you take the compliance from the tyre sidewall away when the 19's are fitted...

Mark at BMautosport is great,i have dealt with him on a few ocassions... I have also dealt with Chris at CM wheels on the last couple of wheel/tyre sets as he has been over £100 cheaper in comparison.
