Thinking of getting one of the above, looking for GPS and parking facilities but there are so many on the market.

So I'm hoping that I can get advice from users on here on the benefits/drawback etc before I decide which to get

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I'm using my iPhone5 with a wide angle lens case "Hitcase" and the app called "Witness". The case has its own rail mount that is very stable.

Case:

App:

I also use my iPhone 5 with Witness and that works really good. The down side is you can't use your iPhone for anything else at the same time.
whousthat, welcome to the forum...

I've been using one of these for the past few months...

They aren't amazing, but are 'good enough' for a basic camera, once you decipher the instructions. Come with charger / cig lighter lead, Software (not needed) and a 3 way swivel suction mount for the windscreen.

Seems well liked by the guys on pistonheads. Looking at picking one up in the next few months and permanently installing it in front of the mirror, somehow.

I've been using the V1000gs for some weeks. It records very good quality video, has a separately wired gps antenna and g force sensors. It has proved utterly reliable and when combined with the "Registrator" software rather than the "HDPlayer" that comes with it, I think you'd be hard pressed to get a better camera. It is extremely small and will genuinely fit behind the rear view mirror and hides itself very well.
It's all over Ebay and Amazon so easy to source.
Hats off to RichIbizaSport as above, for pointing me in the right direction.
