If, or should I say when mine goes i will definatley be taking mine there to get it done. If you just go on Ebay and put in Z4 roof motor you will see the item
In looking to get this done as the motor has gone. I'm outside Leeds so harrogate not too far. Any more details about the place? Cheers

Tempted to have a crack at this on my own z4 as the pump was new last year fitted by last owner at £600+. Can I gain access to the pump from the boot or from inside the car behind the seats by removing the plastic tray that the roof sits on when folded?

Yes. You only need to raise the left hand side, no need to take the tray out (although it would probably make access a bit easier)

Another happy Ross customer - well worth the money for the peace of mind (and the £500 to replace a fubared motor).

Coming from me having 3 series the last 10yrs I feel having a Z4 now its built on the real cheap probably to save weight on parts etc but it does seem a very less expensive built luxury model bmw for sure. Full of brittle plastic or rotten parts

Before you buy new one, worth taking old one out and clean inside out, there's at big change it will work again. Two contacts are on the bottom that can easy corrode if left in watter. Happy to help if you close to Gatwick.
