I'd be looking to relocate a working motor for around £200 with the motor being hidden.

As a guide if you've seen some of my threads previously with motors ive replaced in the factory location you will see the standard of work I set.

As my roof motor is quite old, and no doubt fully soaked, I would be interested in having a new one. What is the cost for a new motor and having it relocated?
Thanks

I think it is a no brainer, I would certainly have my motor moved to the boot, £200 seems to be a reasonable price

That's a do-able price point. Without divulging your technical process which I would not ask or want you to post online, what is required?
Is this a roof off or access elsewhere

Where exactly does the motor end up in the boot as I have the large Bluetooth module on the bulkhead?

Gone but not forgotten Z4 3.0i SE Roadster ///M front, Red ///M leather seats, Aero sills

I'm based near Camberley in Surrey.

Looking at around £570 to replace the motor with a new BMW unit while relocating.

I've got a couple of places I want to try the motor in so that the install is as factory as possible so will confirm this :)

going against the grain, i like to keep things original so not in the boot for me. maybe if i had the cost of a couple of new motors i may suddenly change my mind

I agree with keeping things as OEM as possible however as OEM has proven to be useless I think a change is reqiured. I shall be looking forward to doing this in time.
