If you jack up on the rear plastic jacking point you should be able to get high enough to put stand under the front jacking point, then let jack off slowly and repeat for other side. I also usually slip few bits of wood under the rear wheels whilst it's up int'air gives a bit more room.
This is exactly what I do (except for wood under the wheels). A bit time consuming, but does the job. I also put a small square bit of wood between the jack and plastic jacking point to protect the plastic from the metal jack. A lot of US owners use a Hockey puck, but as they're not easily found in these parts, I make do with what I have :)
I use hockey pucks. Got them from ebay. Cheap as chips

I could tell the bushes were gone as I could grip the front wheels with my hands at 3 and 9 o'clock and wiggle the wheel and there was like and inch play which wasn't good, and once up in the air to give the car a once over it was really obvious from underneath when on a ramp so orders them there and then and fitted them the week later.

As for the shocks, 1 of the rear top mounts broke when hitting a pothole so decided to replace the shocks anyway and once removed could tell the my were gone so assumed the fronts would be too but left it a couple of months before changing them mainly due to monies as wanted to do the whole springs/lowering at the same time while it was all apart.

Happy to come and have a look at yours sometime and see if I can see anything wrong ?

That's only because they're out of stock. When back in stock, the price will go back down.

But can get the same thing shipped from the US for less than £14 so doesn't make sense why anybody would pay £100 for them.

I bet you would! I didn't even know you could get these and would have been useful when I changed my winter wheels on the 3 series. Just got to find the right Z now :)

Are people not reading what I typed? They're only £100 whilst they're out of stock. A lot of companies on ebay do this so they don't lose their listing position.

If you really think these are £100 then you need your head checked.
