Changed front pads on my car a week or so ago, and noticed there was no pad wear sensor on the O/S, although the wiring/connector block was there for it. There was one fitted to the N/S. When painting rear calipers yesterday, I noticed the O/S rear has one, but again on the N/S doesn't.
Is this just a cost saving exercise by whoever did the pads last, as I believe they are around a tenner each, or do they leave the factory with only two, and the other connectors are for LHD cars? I know that generally the NSF pads wear faster than OSF on RHD cars, but was wondering if I should really have four sensors fitted.
