Phoenix gold, opinions?

Post by MartynFrancis » Wed Jul 27, 2016 9:23 pm

I'm in the market for a new car, I've seen a Phoenix gold zed, and I really can't make my mind up if it's a lout yellow or really really nice! Lol. Opinions, if anyone has any higher res pics of a py zed that'd be great.
Also I used to have a 2.5 manual, but this is a 3.0 auto with smg which I kind of have my heart set on for some reason, opinions again? Tia.

Buy it , cherish it & enjoy owning a glorious colour that really works on the " flamesided "E85 E86 , very often the pics won't do the car justice & if it has the kiwi / black 2 tone trim then even better

Just be aware the car is a autobox & has no connection to a SMG
Although for myself that would be a bonus , I'm not averse to a autobox & owned a Si coupe with the same box that I have to say was superb , rapid changes in any mode with flappy paddles if you want them but without any potential risks of the SMG complexities

Fully agree only took one test drive in my si to buy it the auto is so smooth, confused the hell out of me the first time I tried to use the flappy paddles though but they're great now I know how they work

Looks a bit better than mine beloved 2.5, where it's face fell off in an accident, thankfully everyone was ok.

 poor 2.5! As for the PY you have in mind it looks great and if you want an auto (not smg). The colour has aged well and looks ace in the flesh!
