Not a problem, glad I could help out a fellow forum member.Ethan12 wrote:I now have almost all of the parts I need for the rebuild apart from a front drivers side lower splash guard and possibly a pristine drivers side front wing, so still on the lookout for those.
Thanks to forum user kammy1975 for supplying a brand new splashguard which was hard to track down.
thanks to eBay seller Matthew Biddulph of classiccarspares2015 who's business it is to source good examples of Z4's and dismantles them for spares, he runs the cars for a few weeks to test them for any faults before dismantling with care. He also specialises in Maserati. Parts are not from accident damages cars, Unlike some breakers yards that rip parts out like a gorilla, this guys father dismantles in a workshop with care as at the end of the day it's in their interest as parts are money.
Check his eBay listings as he has a hundreds of Z4 parts at very reasonable prices and offers a very good service, parts are well packaged. He delivered all of my order due to not trusting a courier with a bonnet. Fair play to him doing a 300 mile round trip.
Thanks for the mention of classiccarspares2015, will definitely keep my out for them in the future should the need arise.
