I have just bought a 2004 Z4 3.0 roadster.
The Bridgestone run flat tyres are good but when need replacing can I put normal (non run-flat) tyres on it?
I believe the run flat tyres are around £200 each and can only be bought from BMW.

Re: Which tyres
You can put any tyres you like on it
You don't have to go to go the dealer to get RFT and prices vary so do your homework
If you wanna stay with RFT tyres I can thoroughly recommend a change away from the stock Bridgestones to the Michelin PS2 ZP

Re: Which tyres
Falken F452s seem to be generally recommended on this forum as a competitively-priced performance tyre (non-runflat), I think if you search 'Falken' you should get some more detailed analysis!

I am also looking at ditching the runflats. What does the RFD mean on the falken 452s?

Re: Which tyres
Run flats can be bought from anywhere. Not sure which wheels you have, but 18" rears will cost up to £280 each at Kwik Fit, but as low as less than £200 from some mobile fitters. I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm sticking with the standard issue tyres on mine despite the higher cost and apparent ride harshness.wilburn wrote:I have just bought a 2004 Z4 3.0 roadster.

Re: Which tyres
Nice tire, but not to be compared with a ps2 etc
I can really recommened the Michelin PS2 (now for 3 days and allready great, way better than the Continentals..)
