Post by Scrapman » Sat Jan 14, 2017 8:14 pm

Hi to all

I'm thinking of selling my E85 2004 2.5 se auto due to needing 4 seats now.

I've owned it for 12 months and only put 2000 miles on the clock
Only 34000 miles great condition
Will have 12 months mot
New spark plugs, air filter and pollen filter
New rear springs
Custom interior made and fitted in June 15 £900.
New 18" alloys and falken tyres only 8 months old. £800
Mtec drilled discs and mintex pads all round.
Gaptech module
Service history

Any guide prices please ??

Many thanks

Start with WBAC (we buy any car) which will frighten the ar$e of you, that'll give you a rock bottom 'don't sell' price.
Then off to Auto Trader & click on their 'sell my car' with 'buying' option that'll give you a trade-retail price that now gives you a 'ball park' figure for you to make your own mind up.
No point anyone giving you a price to sell at as everyone's estimation is probably different.
Good luck with the sale though.

Neither of the above would account for the bespoke interior & all round showroom condition of a cherished 34k car
OP has to start with a figure he would be happy with & try it , if it sells he's happy , if it doesn't then he has to reconsider his price :?
A 34k car totally standard 2.5 auto if mint would not look ott around £5750 / £6k , its a certain buyer who will pay more for the lower miles so you just have to be patient , quite how you value the money invested in the trim is tricky as someone buying low miles would most likely want original but again you only need 1 buyer who loves the miles & the bespoke interior
