Wipers - Coding options?

Post by Ducklakeview » Tue Jan 17, 2017 11:05 pm

Is it just me, or does anyone else find the fact that when on intermittent/rain sensing, the wipers always do a double sweep rather than a single one?

What is the point? Surely, if your blades are fine, as mine are, then after the first wipe, the screen is dry..

It bloody annoys me, and I cannot for the life of me see an option to change it..

Anyone?

Hmm...

I wonder if it's the "greased up park switch" and it's "missing" it on the first wipe. Mind you, I would have thought it would occasionally "catch" it and do a single wipe, which it's never done..

Time to investigate Thursday I think..

If I remember correctly there is a coding option to turn off the rain sensor, but that's about it wiper wise.
