Stitch on steering wheel cover
I could do with making my steering wheel a bit thicker and newer Looking, and I have been looking at these leather covers you stitch on. However, they all seem to be for wheels that don't have the silver arms that my 2003 2.5 has. Anyone done this that can offer advice, help, or even the correct wheel cover? Do those silver arms come apart so the cover tucks under them?
If you try and take a cat apart the first thing you have is a non working cat.

I think the best option is to go for a re-trim with Royals. There are plenty on here who have had them done and they look amazing. Certainly something I intend to do in the future. here's an example post viewtopic.php?t=79003, but if you search there are plenty more.
E85. 2.5i SE. 2004. Sterling grey, anthracite 107s, black leather heated seats, hardtop, sound gen retrofit, matt black grills, stubby, zhp, cupholders retrofit, roof motor in boot.

With so many people using royals we could ask them if they are willing to set up forum discount

ive seen a lot of E46 owners retrim with Royal the pics are good. Get a different coulor stitch like purple/blue to stand out against the new leather. Those pereforated/dimpled style ones like nice too
