May need a new battery ... still got one with a BMW sticker in the boot so it's done well.

Any suggestions on a replacement. It's bleeding massive!

Changed my original one about 6 months ago, it was starting to lose charge.
Replaced it with a Bosch S5, as I do with all my cars.

Mine got a BMW one last month, but it's actually made by Exide! (I would have expected a Bosch)

AND, if you just sit on the site with your chosen battery on screen, after 5 mins a pop up window will tempt you with 5% off

If you buy on-line, how do you get rid off the old one ? Isn't it supposed to be an exchange thing ?

take it to local council skip they have a section for batteries and oil etc

ECP were running a £5 refund, and most scrap metal dealers will give you at least that..

Is it worth it? Have you tried recently as you have to register, set up bank details and have bank transfer of payment. Proof of address dated in last 3 months.
Lots changed around me with scrap trade to reduce theft. Scrap dealers metal act 2013 behind it all

For a one off small transaction they aren't normally bothered, well not my local ones anyway..
