Been busy, adding sound proofing to doors. Great job too, sounds much better when closing doors. Only took a couple hours and that included two tea breaks!
I never learnt anything whilst I was tallking?

Rise in temperature encouraged me to replace winter wheels with summer ones, hope its not too premature.
Whilst wheels were off took the opportunity to clean out roof drain holes, glad I did as water came out from hole as I cleaned them, fortunately only from the drivers side with no roof motor problems. Next job to relocate motor to boot whilst its still working.

Was yesterday but close enough! Gave my calipers and anti rattle clips a coat of paint. Just kept them black but may be tempted to change colour in future but this would mean they would have to come right off and probably be sent away to be rebuilt. Black is fine for the moment until I can decide. :D

New water pump, idler tensioner pulley, both belts and the offset idler pulley all for less than £100 fitted. Did take me 3 hours though.

I'm using Silent Coat. Got a whole box of sheets for when I did the hardtop. Will do the doors over one weekend now that weather is getting a bit better!

This may be useful for when you do it! :)

Putting that stuff in the door suddenly makes the car feel much more expensive, no CLANG when shutting them!

I put 12mm spacers on the rear today, much better stance. Not sure the front needs them (the back wheels really seem to sit deep in the arches) but will decide once I have had a chance to experience the back ones more.
If you try and take a cat apart the first thing you have is a non working cat.

I was going to carbon wrap them but could not get them to look right unlike the many members on this site who have far superior skills than me. So I have gone the Hydro dipping route, I just dropped off the parts today and will be collecting them next Thursday, they are being dipped in carbon fibre effect and finished with three coats of aircraft grade lacquer to give a high gloss finish,
Pics will be uploaded when I have reassembled. A big thank you to all forum members who have submitted threads on the removal of the centre console, dash etc. I was also able to remove the centre console without removing the gear knob and gaiter :D
