Made some blanks for the boot lock and Door lock. Painted and lacquered, just curing in the oven for the lacquer to harden. Will fit tomorrow.

Well here is the lexan piece. Not finished with it just yet. Need to do some final sanding on it and fit it with a hand sander. But I think for free it’s a home run. Protective paper will stay on till it’s where I want it to be

What did you fashion these from? I’d quite like to hide mine, they stand out a lot on a black car...

Assuming it’s the 9/13mm dual pack you ordered? The boot one being a bit small wouldn’t matter for myself, being that it’s a black car so the black surround wouldn’t be noticeable

Anyhow, just got home and my 1 series LED number plate housings are here, installed easy enough with a little persuasion! Was going to change the plugs as suggested, but BMW have superseded the plug item number with a full repair kit, costing a lot more!

£8 per set, sod that! 2 minutes each side carefully removing the key from the old plug and voila, it fits!

New white rear brake light to replace the completely broken one previously.

And two new door pin surrounds to stop the damn things from rattling. £8 parts direct from BMW worth doing.
