Unfortunately so.

You have the thicker sport ARBs which is 19 compared to 18 non sport. Registration doesn't give enough info as you could spec either suspension.

Can't beat the ///M wheel - did you manage to get a decent used one or buy new?
Same move I made recently, just like you two I had a Royals wheel and went to the M Sport one, whats the verdict then?
Must be something in the water, as I swapped out my royals wheel for a M Sport one today. I'm planning on getting that done by royals in the near future though.

I've started putting bits back on now. Waiting for the crash bar and headlight bracket that was due today but BMW ordered the wrong parts, so another 5 day wait. :headbang:

Yes, your right Mark, sorry for the mix up. Your instructions came in very handy.

Tell me about it, I've replaced mine with H&R and getting the rear out was a lot more work than the front.

Rebuilt the vanos, VERY tight to get it off the studs, but once it was off it's easy.

Well done, it looks a bit daunting tbh but I'd still get stuck in.

How long did it take?

It's pretty straight forward just awkward, about 6 hours but that includes getting a lift to work to pick up my right angled pliers, you'll need a set of those, the guide I followed was for the E46 where you don't need them as there's more room. Just be careful not to get any chunks of gasket in the engine, the rocker cover gasket will be brittle and fall to pieces.

Don't get me wrong, I loved my royals wheel, but it actually felt a little TOO thick with the double padding, even though the///M wheel is thicker. I think it's because my old one was just a circular cross section, whereas the new one has "sides" to it. It feels fantastic!
