Made some blanks for the boot lock and Door lock. Painted and lacquered, just curing in the oven for the lacquer to harden. Will fit tomorrow.

Well here is the lexan piece. Not finished with it just yet. Need to do some final sanding on it and fit it with a hand sander. But I think for free it’s a home run. Protective paper will stay on till it’s where I want it to be

Anyhow, just got home and my 1 series LED number plate housings are here, installed easy enough with a little persuasion! Was going to change the plugs as suggested, but BMW have superseded the plug item number with a full repair kit, costing a lot more!
£8 per set, sod that! 2 minutes each side carefully removing the key from the old plug and voila, it fits!

New gear knob fitted.
3.0l Silver SMG, whippy and ginge fringe/ Sound gen mod/ Media bridge fitted (bluetooth and audio streaming) / Clear third break light/ Hard Top/ Eibachs springs and DLV back box/ Roof motor in the boot/ plus lots more.

New white rear brake light to replace the completely broken one previously.
And two new door pin surrounds to stop the damn things from rattling. £8 parts direct from BMW worth doing.

Bought new drop glasses and top window sealsbut not fitted them yet any thing I need to look out for when changing them will be greatly appreciated my car is a 58 plate coupe
