Do the seatbelt supports work?
I kind of want to push the belt away from my neck. I looked at these and dismissed them because the belt would still chafe on the neck.

to a degree helps keep belt from falling behind the seat but the belt can slip out a bit to easy when putting belt on only just fitted them so will let you know with regards to chaffing :)

Had a spin around the Lakes today, no roof down though sadly, was a happy chap when a lady in the car park in Ambleside came across and asked what polish I used, she was very impressed with the shine and finish on the paintwork, makes all the hardwork worthwhile :D

On the downside, my engine check light has come back on again (lambda sensor fault) and I’ve got an exhaust related rattle just above idle - both a legacy of the recent Scorpion exhaust install!

Checked the rear discs for run out as could feel a little vibration on braking, they run out by 0.05mm or about. 002" which I presume is acceptable?

That's fine especially measured that close to the edge.

Fronts were even less, 0.02mm so the vibration is coming from elsewhere...

Have you checked for variation in the disc thickness? The limit for that is only .01mm (E30 but I can't see it being different on an E85)

Replaced 3 months ago. It's only a very slight vibration, but doing my head in.

hi mate I would say not much different maybe a little more clearance but to be honest I only got them to stop the belt disappearing behind the seat and having to search for it behind me also think I will have to mod it some way to stop the belt slipping out of the clip but certainly better than it was

I guess it's a process of elimination then and checking the usual suspension components/ball joints etc. I'd probably start with the ball joints on the front arms

Is it me, or does that disc look really worn? Should the lip be that deep?
