Fitted seatbelt pads so I don't feel like my head is being slowly cut off as I drive, washed it and took a pic of it.

Cleaned up the fog lamps - very pitted after 12 years of road grit & salt, sanded down with drill pads, 240 grit through 400, 800, 1200 and 1500 grit, final polish with pads & chemical guys polish V34, v36 and v38. Sparkling now, going to look for some Lamin-x protectors before I refit

Nothing, but bowser134 moved my roof motor into the boot, it was pretty much dead and full of water but now it works better than ever, highly recommend

Finished off popping new drop links on, then a quick wash.
Need to replace brake bleed nipples too.

Just given mine a proper go over inside. Leather cleaner, care balm, dash shine... the works.
Bloody hate doing the interior but love it when it looks clean.

Started to rebuild my split headlights... new angel eyes (went for some ccfl this time) with 80mm diffusers, repainted inners, new "chaser" indicator and running light, cleaned lens, replaced one failed stepper motor... just finishing the wiring now, then I'll stick a thread up.
Oh, and ordered some lamin-x headlight and fog light protectors

Renovo'd the roof (3 stage over the last 3 days), not touched for at least 2 years. Looks great. Fitted LED' s to rear number plate, map reading lights & footwells. Main central courtesy LED wouldn't fit so have ordered another.
Tried to get the centre storage compartment between the seat backs open again & failed miserably Any advise greatly appreciated here guys! 2004 reg E85 but doesn't seem to have the release in the boot, unless it's behind the bulkhead carpet?
Bought an Aux lead & Bluetooth adaptor to be fitted later so I can stream Planet Rock Not that I want to drown out the lovely sound of that straight 6

Jacked the coupe up and had the wheels off, and cleaned up the wheel bolts/nuts . Then re-coated in Hammerite Satin black.
New wheels ( Mv3 refurbed) and Goodyear Eagle F1 A3 being delivered tomorrow!
I also re-cleaned and oiled various bits in the wheel arches, like brake lines and various holders that had surface rust. Sprayed original Black on to the wheel arch liners.

It's a black plastic disc on the carpet, looks like a big button.oldgitdave wrote: ↑Sun Aug 06, 2017 7:30 pm Tried to get the centre storage compartment between the seat backs open again & failed miserably Any advise greatly appreciated here guys! 2004 reg E85 but doesn't seem to have the release in the boot, unless it's behind the bulkhead carpet?
